Local Networks Map
AOK Networks are community-based collaborations that engage a diverse group of people who care about the health and well-being of expecting parents and children birth to 5 and their parents/caregivers. AOK Networks are unique in that they provide the most comprehensive, community-based forum for early childhood and family support champions to work together on issues that might prevent young children and their families from achieving their full potential.
Because no one agency – or small group of agencies – at the community level has the responsibility, expertise, or capacity to meet all the needs of children birth to five and their parents/caregivers, AOK Networks provide the means for local champions and stakeholders from across service sectors to work together for the common good. By working together AOK Networks improve families’ access to a more holistic, coordinated, and accessible system of services and supports, which in turn leads to enhanced child and family outcomes.
